Citizenship for The Palms

Citizenship

Citizenship will only be available from the 21st of December, 2012 on. However, pre-citizenship is available for anyone who wishes to join the micronational project. Receiving pre-citizenship gives you an opportunity to visit any of our states in the future whenever you wish once they become available. It will also give you the right to vote in certain occasions when we require public opinion.

To obtain citizenship, you can do the following things:

If you want, you may only fill out your nickname and your gender, but you won't be granted complete citizenship this way, which won't allow you to visit any of the future states. For example, if you arrive at a Palmerian island, you will be asked for your citizenship document and your passport. If you don't have one, you might apply for citizenship right there, although you will need your passport as well, which is an important step in getting citizenship. Also, you might need to show medical certificates to keep our islands free from diseases.

1. Do you have Transhumanist beliefs? Yes/No If you agree with Transhumanism, you won't be granted pre-citizenship. 2. Do you disagree with the "Evil 3s"? (Animal testing, battery farming, genetic engineering) Yes/No If you don't disagree, you will be invited to the debates at our forums, otherwise you are less likely to receive pre-citizenship. This is to see where your points of view come from. The Holy Kingdom of The Palms respects religious beliefs and political positions, as long as they don't come in conflict with the Palmerian moral code. 3. How do you wish to support The Palms? [ ] By advertising the website, e.g. telling friends about the project, adding the website to blogs, etc. [ ] By applying for a part-time job. (Part time jobs in The Palms are limited to HTML/PHP coding, designing of structures/clothes/cities and art. Gardening, construction, coin minting or any jobs at the embassy are not available for pre-citizens for legal and safety issues.) [ ] By protesting the "Evil 3s" in any way. [ ] By recycling, growing organic food (GMO free as well), saving energy, etc. [ ] By refusing to buy products that involve animal testing, battery farming and genetic engineering. You have to support The Palms in at least one way to be granted pre-citizenship.
